Jørgen Strand Larsen
Jørgen Strand Larsen is a towering 1.94 m centre-forward from Halden who gives Ståle Solbakken's Norway a powerful third striker option behind Erling Haaland, valued for his ability to hold up the ball and protect leads late in games. After a winding career through Sarpsborg 08, a loan at AC Milan's youth side, Groningen and Celta Vigo, he broke through at Wolves before joining Crystal Palace in February 2026 for a club-record fee worth up to £48 million — making him the most expensive player in Palace's history. Per Store norske leksikon, he made his Norway debut back in November 2020 in a curious "emergency national team" friendly against Austria during the COVID-19 pandemic, fielded only with players already based in Europe. He capped a glittering 2025-26 by winning the UEFA Conference League with Palace, with one of his semi-final goals voted the club's Goal of the Season.
