Habib Diallo
A seasoned No. 9 and experienced squad option for Pape Thiaw, Diallo offers physical, penalty-box presence as a striker alternative. He made his name at FC Metz (Ligue 2 title and 26 league goals in 2018–19), earned a club-record move to RC Strasbourg, then spells in Saudi Arabia with Al-Shabab and on loan at Damac, before returning to Metz in August 2025 on a three-year deal. For Senegal he is an AFCON 2021 winner, converting his penalty in the final shootout against Egypt, and was decorated as a Grand Officer of the National Order of the Lion. He contributed to the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign, scoring against Mauritania as Senegal sealed their place. Though not part of the front three vs France, his experience and finishing make him a useful depth striker. He turned 31 during the tournament, on 18 June 2026.
