David Møller Wolfe is a Bergen-born left-back/left wing-back who has become Norway's first-choice option down the left flank, partnering the Erling Haaland-led "golden generation" at the country's first World Cup since 1998. He broke through at AZ Alkmaar (earning Eredivisie Team of the Month nods) before a €12m move to Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2025, and made his Norway debut in November 2023 against the Faroe Islands. His debut Premier League season was bittersweet: Wolves were relegated, and VG ran a piece on his benching headlined with his own resigned words — he hadn't started consistently from late August, telling the paper he "had no other choice" but to keep fighting for his place, even as Nottingham Forest and Roma reportedly circled with bids around €14-16m.
